Chris Hadnagy is the founder and CEO of Social-Engineer, LLC, and is renowned as an expert in the art, science, and psychology of social engineering. He has authored five books on the subject and is a distinguished keynote speaker, trainer, and adjunct professor at the University of Arizona, an NSA-designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO). Matt Canham

Human-AI Integration Expert

Dr. Matthew Canham, a former Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has a combined twenty-one years of experience in conducting research in cognitive security and human-technology integration. He currently holds an affiliated faculty appointment with George Mason University, where his research focuses on the cognitive factors in synthetic media social engineering and online influence campaigns.

His work has been funded by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), and the US Army Research Institute. He has provided cognitive security awareness training to the NASA Kennedy Space Center, DARPA, MIT, US Army DevCom, the NATO Cognitive Warfare Working Group, and Black Hat USA.

He holds a PhD in Cognition, Perception, and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and SANS certifications in mobile device analysis (GMOB), security auditing of wireless networks (GAWN), digital forensic examination (GCFE), and GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).

Dr. Abbie Maroño

Dr. Abbie Maroño is a distinguished scientist and practitioner in human behavior, recognized by the U.S. Department of State as a top 1% expert. She has provided specialized behavior analysis training to elite units, including the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which comprises agents from the Secret Service, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and local law enforcement.

Earning her PhD in Psychology, Abbie became a Professor of Psychology at 23 and now serves as Director of Education at Social-Engineer, LLC, specializing in behavior analysis. She contributes regularly to Forbes and Apple News and has been featured on BBC News, WIRED, and Forbes Breaking News.

As an active member of internationally recognized research groups, Abbie was honored as Reviewer of the Year for her significant contribution to the academic community. Additionally, she is an author, expert consultant, coach, and a TEDx speaker.

Mayor Megan Barry

Former mayor of Nashville, TN

Megan Barry is the former mayor of Nashville, TN, the first woman to be elected to the office. While she was in office, she lost her only son, Max, to a drug overdose. Since leaving her position, Barry is working to combat the shame and guilt that comes from this soul-sucking disease and to help those who struggle with substance use disorder and their loved ones by speaking up and speaking out.

Born in California and raised in Kansas, Barry has a BS from Baker University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. She’s worked as a corporate executive, an independent consultant focusing on business ethics and corporate responsibility, and an adjunct professor. She is currently running for US Congress.

Barry has served on several boards and has been an invited speaker for numerous organizations and events. She is married to Bruce Barry, and they share their home with two rescue pups, Winslow and Natasha.

Brad Beeler

Former Special Agent for US Secret Service

Brad Beeler recently retired after a distinguished 25-year career as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, where he became one of the agency’s most highly regarded polygraph examiners and communicators. He trained thousands of federal agents in advanced credibility assessment and elicitation techniques at the National Center for Credibility Assessment. Brad conducted more criminal polygraph examinations than anyone in the history of the U.S. Secret Service, securing hundreds of confessions in countless high-profile investigations. He also served on numerous protective assignments involving Presidents and foreign dignitaries.

His upcoming book, “Tell Me Everything,” offers practical communication strategies for law enforcement, sales, and negotiation professionals. Brad holds a master’s degree in criminology and was previously honored as the U.S. Secret Service Special Agent of the Year for his outstanding contributions to combating crimes against children.
